Term

The PDN Objects of Desire contest begins May 8, 2013 at 12:00 am Pacific Standard Time (PDT) and ends July 16, 2013 at 11:59 pm PDT. All Entries must be received by July 16, 2013 at 11:59 pm PDT. An additional fee of $10 is required for each entry received between 12:00 a.m. PDT on July 16, and 11:59 p.m. PDT on July 30, 2013.

Who May Enter

Anyone except employees of Nielsen and their families.

Entering The Contest

A contest entry may consist of one image, or a photo series. You may enter multiple times.

Entry Fees

$35 per entry (one image, or a photo series)
Submissions received after 07/16/13 will be subject to an additional late fee of $10 (through extended deadline period ending 07/30/13).

Submission Requirements

Online Submissions Only
To enter your submissions electronically, please visit pdnobjectsofdesire.com and register. Once the registration process has been completed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. Simply log in to the PDN Objects of Desire contest Site, and follow the online instructions to upload images from your computer. Images formatted as a JPEG measuring 1,000 pixels on its long dimension are preferred. Images may be color profiled in sRGB, Adobe-1998 or not color-managed.

Judging

Entries will be judged on the basis of creativity, photographic quality and effectiveness in expressing the contest and category theme.

Consent Agreement

Submitted materials will not be returned.
PDN is not responsible for the loss or damage of any entry. Submission of an entry to the contest automatically constitutes the contestant's acceptance of all conditions set forth in the above rules. By submitting images you grant PDN the right to use the entry in exhibitions and promotions in print and online when directly related to the PDN Objects of Desire contest for 24 months.

Entries not complying with the rules set forth above will be disqualified.

PDN is solely responsible for the administration of the contest, and sponsors are in no way affiliated with the contest or liable for any matters arising due to the contest.
